pyqt5-dev-tools software package provides Development tools for PyQt5, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pyqt5-dev-tools
pyqt5-dev-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pyqt5-dev-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pyqt5-dev-tools *
You will get with pyqt5-dev-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
